Friends??this is actually my assignment for technical english...I have to post a posting about friend...I think,this topic is quite interesting...because we all have a friends right??but we all have our own definition about a friend...so,here I want to share with you all what actually a friends to me...a friends to me should be a person who will share most of the happy and sad part of her life with me...who trust me to cry and laugh with her...who want to hear my problem,hear my story...also a person who can advise and help me when I needed...a person who will not ever hurt my feeling,I'm a sensitive person...I also want a person who can teach me how to be a good lady...I have found a friend who have all this attitude and personality...I love her so much...I hope I have been a good friend to her even we are not longer together...friends are not just a person who will laugh with you...they will also cry with you...so,love your friends...and your little ship that you and your friend build and row together,FRIENDSHIP!!!

some say that love is better than friendship, but i prefer friendship rather than love..
It doesn't mean that I'm not interested in making or finding my true love, but the word friend is more familiar to me since I pernah ''dikecewakan" hehe.. a really good and understanding friend is better than a woman that will just give u more headache when u need someone to talk..
kawan ketawa senang dicari, kawan menangis.... really difficult to find.. thank god, I have my 'kawan menangis' huhu... he..opss, she's really understanding person, know how make me feel better if I have problems.. we always sit together, share our problems, our stories n even some of my secret with her.. but now we can't sit together.. really far maa.. she's in Perlis, pursuing her studies there and me.. here lah in the most peace place in Malaysia ( U bet hehe) Gambang lol!, but we still contact each other..
For me, friend is a person that I can share anything, everything. A really good friend is hard to find. If you can't find a good friend, just be a good friend to your other friends.. a friend that they can trust, a friend that always be by their side in any circumstances, that can laugh together and 'menangis bersama'
friends are like mirrors?? it's true..you are what your friend look alike.. it's like been arranged, i'm not a smoker, god shows me.. all my other 3 room mates are non smoker too.. most of them like what i likes and hate what i hates..
good things about friends is, apart from sharing our happy and sad moment, they can cheer me up whenever i missed my family.. because i'm from jb.. so it's not possible for me to come all away to jb every week..

i believe that friends are so important in our life.My life is not complete without my friends. The diffinition of friends is more than in the dictionary. To me, friend mean that someone who is always there when i need her most. We would enjoy sharing together, from fun to tear,problems to happiness,study to life, n even girl to boy.Friend will never betray n always offer helps without a fuss. She would accepts me whoever i'm n motivate me when i'm down. The most character of friend that can attract me is kindness because its make me feel comfortable when we are hanging on together. Actually, i dont know how to explain more about the words "FRIEND".The thruth is the words "FRIEND" are so meaningful to me..

Actually, I dont know how to describe about friends...there are many type of friends today..however, I believe that friends are so important in our life. Our life will not complete without friends. for me... friend is a person who are really meaningfull because she should be a person who will share most of the happy and sad part of her life with me. what friend's meaning to me
Kind,helpful,honest,trustworthy, beautiful and so on..all of these can be a definition of a friend to someone,but, to me, a definition of a friend is someone who can make me happy and laugh when i am in sadness or tension....in other words..a friend must be an understanding person..in article that I've done read it..that sentence "communication is very important to me,so i like to have friends that I enjoy conversing with whether in person, on the phone, or via e-mail" is exactly meaning of a friend.

TYPES OF FRIENDSHIPS.......
Best friend (or close friend): a person(s) with whom someone shares extremely strong interpersonal ties with as a friend.
Acquaintance: similar to a friend, but sharing of emotional ties aren't present. An example would be a coworker whom you enjoy eating lunch with, but would not look to for emotional support.
Romantic friendship: the very close but non-sexual friendship shared between two friends, often involving physical contact such as hugging, holding hands, and even cuddling.
Soulmate: the name given to someone who is considered the ultimate, true, and eternal half of the other's soul, in which the two are and forever were meant to be together.
Pen pal: a person who shares a "postal" relationship with another and regularly write via "snail mail". They may or may not have met each other in person and may share either love, friendship, or simply an acquaintence between each other.
Internet friendship: a widely debated and criticized form of friendship or romance which takes place over the Internet. It is similar to a pen pal, in a sense a "technologically modern" form of pen pals, and the people may or may not have met in person. It's often considered dangerous.
Comrade: means "ally", "friend", or "colleague" in a military or left-wing political connotation. This is the feeling of affinity that draws people together in time of war or when people have a mutual enemy or even a common goal. Friendship can be mistaken for comradeship. Former New York Times war correspondent Chris Hedges wrote:
"We feel in wartime comradeship. We confuse this with friendship, with love. There are those, who will insist that the comradeship of war is love — the exotic glow that makes us in war feel as one people, one entity, is real, but this is part of war's intoxication. Casual relationship or "Friends with benefits": the sexual or near-sexual and emotional relationship between two people who don't expect or demand to share a formal romantic relationship. In the U.S., this is considered "a fling".
Boston marriage: a term used in the ninteenth and twentieth centuries to denote two women that lived together in the same household independent of male support. Relationships weren't necessarily sexual. It was used to quell fears of lesbians after WWI.
Blood brother or blood sister: may refer to people related by birth, or a circle of friends who swear loyalty by mingling the blood of each member together.
Open relationship: a relationship, usually between two people, that agree each partner is free to have sexual intercourse with others outside the relationship. When this agreement is made between a married couple, it's called an open marriage.
Roommate: a person who shares a room or apartment (flat) with another person and do not share a familial or romantic relationship.
Imaginary friend: a non-physical friend created by a child. It may be seen as bad behavior or even taboo (some parents even consider their child to be possessed by an evil spirit), but is most commonly regarded as harmless, typical childhood behavior. The friend may or may not be human, and commonly serves a protective purpose.

4)mutual understanding.
In a comparison of personal relationships, friendship is considered to be closer than association, although there is a range of degrees of intimacy in both friendships and associations. Friendship and association can be thought of as spanning across the same continuum. The study of friendship is included in sociology, anthropology, philosophy, and zoology. Various theories of friendship have been proposed, among which are social psychology, social exchange theory, equity theory, relational dialectics, and attachment styles.
Friendship Is The Most Important Value For Us
How do you imagine your life without friends? Our answer to this question would be very simple: we just can’t imagine it without the ones, whom we can trust, relieve our feelings to them expecting to hear a sincere advice, share both happiness and the most sorrowful moments without any doubts that you will be left alone with your problems. Only close friends can make you smile and feel better even the most stressful day! They won’t let you feel miserable and depressed, insistently trying to cheer you up as much as it’s possible!
My friend and I totally agree with the idea that the main reason why friends are so important for us is not our concrete need for help, but knowing that we would immediately get that help is the most important! What we also believe, is that if you want to be certain that the person you consider your friend is your true friend, go to the mountains with him and you will see! A true friend won’t leave you in trouble.
