A friend is someone who knows me so well that I don't have to explain any of my actions to him/her. It is also someone who will accept me as I am.

What is the definition of a friend? From the dictionary, friend means a person whom one knows well and is fond of; intimate associate; close acquaintance or a person on the same side in a struggle; one who is not an enemy or foe; ally.
But for me, friend is everything! A true friend is always find time for me. They are always on my side eventhough when i lose something. They gives something without waiting for something back. They respect my opinion and show that she/he cares of me. Let me explain what are really friend means to you.
A true friend always finds time for you
Irrespective of whether your friend is busy or not, the fact that you need his/her help has a higher priority. Therefore a true friend will put aside everything else and come over to give you a helping hand in whatever you need.
A true friend is always on your side even though you are losing
The ultimate test to verify if someone is a true friend is when you are going through difficult times. When you have money and you offer drinks on the house, everyone smiles and says that you are a great person. But when you’re broke or down, not everybody will stand by you to listen to what you have to say. Only true friends will stay.
A true friend gives without waiting for something back
Friendship is give and take but it does not necessarily happen in a sequential manner. A true friend is ready to give a lot before asking for something back.
A true friend respects your opinion
Even though you don’t agree with your friend about something, she/he will still respect your ideas and agrees that you don’t agree on that particular point. A true friend values your friendship more than the topics that you don’t agree on.
True friendship is shown through small things
A true friend shows that she/he cares by giving attention to small things like remembering your birthday. Even though you may have not met for a very long time, a true friend would still remember about your birthday.

Friends is someone where we tell our problem and share the happy and sad moment. They also the person where we talk about all kind of up an down in our life. There are also friend which uses us for their important and just using us like a puppet.

Important characteristic that i am looking for being my friend is understanding.it is because this character may cover all thing that will be a good friend.When the person have understanding characteristic,we will survive to be friend untill die.Do not have problem or misunderstanding to each other.So that choose this character as the most important character to choose friend.It may help us to be more close and our relationship still good till last.I LOVE ALL MY FRIENDS.

For me friend is the person who can give advice and opinion to me whiles I having the problem and the person who can be trusted… other than that , I think our friend personality is shows our personality . It is because I think most of the time we spend with our friend and sometimes we will influence to our friend character .. so if you want to know my personality just look at my friend around me………..
Besides that for me friends is not limited to person who same gender with us but person who opposite gender with me also can be my best friends. Because for me no matter my friends is guys or girl but the important thing to build FRINDSHIP is sincerely and trustworthy.

For me.... friend like cloud.... and it not alway bring the good thing. Sometime in hot day it can help to block the sunrise that is cool. the definition of a friend is someone who understands me without knowing why.. it doesn't matter whether it's a male or female.. understandind is important to me because i think if he understands me then he will always listen when i have something to say.. he will always be a tissue when i can't stop crying.. he is an ear for a secret to tell and he is a hand when i feel all alone.. being with friends is one of the best things in the world.. without friends i can't be the best of me.. to choose a friend, the first thing that will make me want to be friend with someone is if he is a happy go lukcy person..=)

I don't know how to define the words of friendship, for me, friendship is an amalgamation of beautiful and complex feelings which may not often be described in words.
For me,friend doesn't always need togetherness, doesn't need everyday conservation, as long as the friendship live in the doa, it remains abadan abada....

My definition of a true friend is someone who is going to love me for me. The good times and the bad. They can find out my past and still love me. They are there to listen any time I need to talk or cry. They will not tell any of my secrets unless the secret is endangering my life. They can be truthful with me regardless of what it may be or if it hurts my feelings. They don't talk about me behind my back and they stick by me no matter what unless I have done them wrong. They don't end up disappearing from my life without good reason and we remain close. They would do anything for me unless it was something super unreasonable for them to do. In other words, they would give me the shirt off of their back if I needed it. They must have a kind heart and hold their friends close to it all times.

Friendship can be defined on three (3) levels:
Level One: Friendship of Pleasure: "We have fun times together"

We don't necessarily call one another when we have needs.
Level Two: Friendship of Utility: "We help each other in times of need"
You need a ride to a place, borrow or lend money, a business partner, you need a text book to borrow, you need someone to baby-sit your children for the weekend.
The people that we often remember only when we need help, are friends of utility. We reintroduce them into our lives when we have a need.
Level Three: Friendship of Character: "We build each other up for life"
This is the highest level of friendship. This is a true friend.
